Once believed to be as human as any other, The Decommissioner rose from the flooded tunnels to claim the title of Champion and the power to rule the underground. She remains undefeated but was previously unscathed as well; until her match with Blades, the challenger who changed everything.
What should have been a lethal blow fromBlades only laid bare metal and circuits and a mysterious revelation that the people of Sub-Urbia are still trying to grapple with. Where did this synthetic being come from and what does she augur for their future?

Blades started out a scavenger, idolizing the Decommissioner and coveting her station in Sub-Urbia. She entered the Cataclysm Arcade with nothing but instinct, speed, and two swords forged from the rails of the old subway. Her rise through the ranks was fast, violent, and became must-see carnage every week.
Her championship bout against The Decommissioner is one of the most infamous broadcasts in the history of CataclysmArcade. The duel exposed her opponent’s secret and nearly ended Blades’slife. Beaten within an inch of death, Blades refused to yield, her defiance echoing through the darkness even after the cameras went dark.
The Decommissioner found her broken body and rebuilt her in secret, piecing her back together with surgical pins and metal braces. Blades now fights with steel in her bones and something deeper in her heart. She remains the symbol of defiance in a world that measures strength by how long you can keep standing.

The Decommissioner was the just first of many Synths to enter Cataclysm Arcade and where they came from is a mystery that buzzes throughout Sub-Urbia.
Toolshed, Weaponsmith stepped from the shadows of the machine shop to become one of the league's most fearsome competitors -- and the most unpredictable. With access to the vast array of scavenged parts and tools he is always able to be exactly the right machine for any job.
Each 15-card Booster Deck tells one of these stories. Inside every pack is a Boss, the fighters who battle alongside and against them, and the weapons and tactics then need to strive for dominance against their rivals. Open a pack and step into the broadcast. Build your legend in the Cataclysm Arcade.
When you open a booster you will play asBlades or The Decommissioner or one of dozens of different bosses. Everything you need to play is right there in the pack - even the dice!
Just shuffle the rest of your pack and play. Whether it is one-on-one duels or a four-player free for all you can get right into the action for instant fun.
Cataclysm Arcade will make its debut at PAX Unplugged 2025 with a limited edition run of Demo Tapes. Each set of two Demo Tapes contains four intro booster packs in retro cassette cases ready for a four-player battle right out of the packs.
This will be the first time anyone will have a chance to get a hold of the game. This limited edition will not be available anywhere other than at the Top Deck Games booth all three days of PaxUnplugged (Nov 21-23) along with a set of foil promo cards. This extremely limited edition celebrates the announcement of our game and there will be demos of gameplay all weekend long!
